Dear OTM,

I am 36 years old with terribly crooked teeth. My mother could never afford to get me braces as a child but I am now in a situation where I would be able to get braces now. I am not sure though. Do adults get braces? Would it be silly at this point in my life? Or is there anything else out there that would straighten my teeth without feeling like a child?

Dear Nikki,

Invisalign braces. My 38 year old nephew and a girl in my office who is 29 just got them. I see so many adults now with braces you should not at all feel like a child. My brother did not have the money or benefits to get my nephew and so at 38 he did it for himself. I have to say I am very proud of him. He was always bothered by his teeth and hated to smile so straightening his teeth will really boost his self confidence and image.
I say if it really bothers you then fix it, your smile is your calling card and people always remember a bright one.

Good Luck & Huge Muther Hugs.

OTM
