I need advice for relaxing for a Job interview, and proper interview skills. I am all nerves and sometimes calm myself down by repeating that they are just people like me but by the time the interview rolls around I go right back to nerves. My last interview I talked about my parents divorce and answered those questions they asked me referring to the divorce …Oh MY God, how dumb. After my interview the interviewer came out saying there will be a second interview taking place in a few moments and he suggested that I answer the questions about work and not about personal life. AHH..I was mortified and actually left the business right after he walked away. no second interview. I. AM. HORRIBLE. Help me!

Dear Bonnie,

It is 100% nerves which you know so now how do we control them.
Get yourself ready for the interview by practicing, practicing and practicing. Speak to yourself in a mirror and go over interview questions or work with a friend.
Remember to breathe deeply, in through your nose and blow it out through their mouth. Also very important to remember you are not there to be judged on your life but to show case your skill and knowledge of what the job entails. it is
Take your time, answer the questions they ask clearly and don’t elaborate any further.
There are some wonderful book out there they teach you techniques to stay calm and forced. Review one or two , look up the ratings and buy one. Hopefully that will help.

Good Luck & Huge Muther Hugs,
