A family member of mine that I’m close with told me that she’s planning on moving to California by summer, with her boyfriend when he finishes school. This would be a big move across the U.S from Us. He has connections out there. I told the family member yes go, take a chance. Even if it doesn’t work out and you end up moving home at least you did it and can’t say what if, or wonder. Was this bad advice?

Dear Lexi,

No, that was exactly what I would have said. The time to try as many new things in life is when you are young. I moved from New Jersey to Colorado then all over the world when I was 19 yrs old. I met wonderful people and learned so much about this country and other places I lived. You have to experience life and live it out loud. My girlfriends daughter and her boyfriend moved to California shortly after they graduated school and she loves it. She became a personal trainer who now works in a famous gym in L.A. and he is doing very well also.
So Lexi, no worries, I think you gave your opinion of what she should do and it sounds great to me.
Have a fab day.

Huge Muther Hugs,

One Tough Muther
